Pivoting 3D Printer Prototype. Part of thehe brief was to use parts that were already used on the Makibox 3D printer and material that was available in the workshop.
This video shows a later model that shortened the length of the radial arm whilst covering the same printing area.

A wide variety of workshop processes were used in developing the prototype. Here I am laser cutting the plastic rail that the roller runs along, it didn't help that the machine was all in Chinese!
